“The person who sings, prays twice.” Attributed to Augustine (among others), this quote makes the point that through music we experience the sacred directly. Today, we will be listening to examples of sacred music, offered to us by Laura Brandt and Evan Mounce. We will also have the opportunity to raise our own voices in praise of the sacred. Holy, holy, holy…that is God’s nature; it is our nature to praise God’s holiness through song.

We would like to make the congregation aware that yesterday, Rev. Monday night July 25th the Faith Formation Team invites all Church School children and their families to join us in Trinity Hall  as we share rice krispie treats, play some favourite games, and  share of our abundance ~ with neighbors in need.
