Sunday, Jun 26 - Sacred Moments: SACRED MUSICRev. Geoffrey “The person who sings, prays twice.” Attributed to Augustine (among others), this quote makes the point that through music we experience the sacred directly. Today, we will be listening to examples of sacred music, offered to us by Laura Brandt and Evan Mounce. We will also have the opportunity to raise our own voices in praise of the sacred. Holy, holy, holy…that is God’s nature; it is our nature to praise God’s holiness through song.
