Sunday, June 12 - THE SACRED - Sacred DeathRev. Geoffrey Simmins Death: the single-syllable word that puts an end to life as we know it. How can death be considered as sacred? In this Sunday’s service, we will look at ways that preparing for death with a peaceful and accepting spirit can help us see death as sacred, where God walks with us even during the hardest days. As the United Church’s New Creed puts it, “In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God.”
