Outside the city walls stands the weeping tree. In silence she lifts her weary arms against the darkened sky.Please join us in person or livestreamed for our Good Friday Service at 10:00 am on April 15th The Weeping Tree is a poignant rendering of the cross that uses beloved hymns, newly composed music, thoughtful narration and simple sacred symbols to create a touching testament of grace on Good Friday. The St. Andrew's choir will be joined by violinists Sara and Rena Far, and percussionist Malcolm Lim, to bring this favorite of St. Andrew's back. Via Crucis (The way of the Cross) on Good Friday, April 15th 2022
theCreek invites you to take part in an outdoor interactive contemplation of Jesus' journey to the Cross. Stations will be set up in the Glennfield Day Use Area of Fish Creek Provincial Park, just off Bannister Road (14428 Bannister Rd. SE). You can walk through at your own pace anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

We’ve been missing each other!
Come with your family to celebrate the mystery of Easter on Saturday afternoon, April 16 from 3-5 p.m. We are inviting all families to gather for relaxed family time in the outdoor space at the Haysboro Community Centre. We will have games, an Easter egg hunt and fellowship and conversation around the firepit, with everyone’s favourite treat – campfire s’mores! We hope to see you there! |

It can be challenging for our post secondary students to successfully manage the stress of exam time – especially if they are far from home. The Faith Formation Team tries to create a little light in our students’ lives by organizing gift cards for them during the Christmas and spring exam periods. Any St. Andrew’s student planning on attending his or her first full-time year of post secondary education in the fall of 2022 is eligible to apply for the $1,000 St. Andrew’s Youth Scholarship. Application forms may be requested from Rhonda Wishart, Convenor of the Faith Formation Team which administers the scholarship (Rhonda.wishart@icloud.com.) |
