“Making the Road: Walking through Lent” devotionals by Teri McDowell Ott
Antonio Machado writes: “Walker, there is no road, the road is made by walking.” Machado’s poem resonates because it feels as if there is no road in front of us. The soil of our well- worn Lenten path has been overturned by the pandemic. If we want to follow Christ this Lent, we’ll need to prepare the way and make the road. We’ll need to rethink and recreate our Lenten practices. These Lenten Devotionals |

Presbyterian World Service and Development support for the People of UkraineGod's work is being done to support hundreds of thousands of displaced people. The invasion of Ukraine has created a humanitarian crisis. This devastating conflict has already displaced hundreds of thousands of people. The most urgent needs are for food, water and shelter. To help respond quickly to the escalating situation, PWS&D is receiving donations for Ukraine. As a member of ACT Alliance and Canadian Foodgrains Bank, we are well placed to provide urgently needed food and non-food support. ACT Alliance members have already begun setting up refugee support points and sending relief supplies to Ukraine. Canadian Foodgrains Bank members are also planning a response with urgently needed food assistance. For more infomation visit:
