Listening to Your Thoughts on Same-Sex Marriage and the Ordination of LGBTQI Ministers and Ruling Elders
In June 2021 the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Canada passed two resolutions: Our denomination (the Presbyterian Church in Canada) will affirm both the traditional definition “marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman" as well as marriage being a “covenant relationship between two adult persons”, and the ordination of LGBTQI ministers and ruling elders. Each Session is required to work through these decisions. With your help, we want to provide generous space for you to prayerfully discern what these resolutions mean for St. Andrew's as we Grow Life Together With God. For more infomation visit:

Unfortunately, Youth Group this week (Friday, March 4th) has been canceled.
We will miss you guys this week, but we’ll be back next week, same time, same place, but with a special guest, Deanne Barrett coming to talk to us about inclusivity in the church! We are so excited to see you then! Take care! |

Prayer for the People of Ukraine
In light of the emerging conflict in Ukraine we lift up and support the responses of our partner faith communities who express concern for those citizens who are being displaced and in need of our advocacy and care. We condemn all violence and destruction and call upon our leaders in Canada to help diffuse this situation and restore peace to the areas now under military conflict. We call upon our communities of faith to discern the way that is most fitting for their tradition, whether through prayer, fasting, meditation or other faith tradition, to seek the peace and safety for the people of Ukraine, and all those affected by conflict and violence in the world.
