Epiphany 6: Brightening the Doorway - Fruitfulness in Parched Places - Dr. TimFebruary 13, 2022 – 10:00 am Sunday Worship Service Who do you trust? Some find it hard to trust. In many ways trust is an invisible thing. You can’t really see trust. It’s more of an internal disposition—the bent of your heart and mind. But if you could see trust—what might it look like? Jeremiah gives us an idea this Sunday—hope you can join us. For more infomation visit: https://www.standrewscalgary.ca/pages/live-streaming-worship

St. Andrew’s and the Road to ReconciliationPlease join the Mission Team at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, in welcoming back Ernie Poundmaker, Wallace Alexson and Perry Agicotay. These Indigenous elders and neighbours first visited St. Andrew’s on October 13, 2021, to talk about their experiences with Residential Schools. They are returning to participate with us in a Sharing Circle as the first steps on the Road to Reconciliation. This is an important event marking the beginning the healing process between the people of St. Andrew’s and our Indigenous neighbours. Sharing Circles often are known as Healing Circles and are led by First Nations elders as a way to allow people to share their feelings and ask questions in an intimate and caring environment. The elders who lead these circles have many years of experience and knowledge in First Nations customs. They have put their trust in us to follow through on our good intentions. We would be grateful to have Session’s and the Congregation’s support at this event. Our Sharing Circle will be a hybrid time of sharing, with people invited to participate in person in Trinity Hall (proof of vaccination, masks and distancing are required). Coldest Night of the Year 2022What a great way to get together and GROW.LIFE.TOGETHER.WITH GOD. and be Woven Into Our Neighbourhood, Growing Disciples Who Love Like Jesus. Join our St. Andrew’s family on Saturday, February 26, 2022, to walk and raise funds for Calgary Downtown – HomeSpace Society (KAIROS Calgary and Feed the Hungry) through the Coldest Night of the Year event. You will find our team – the St. Andrew’s Striders - on the CNOY leader board when you click on the button below. Currently we’re near the bottom, but we won’t stay there for long! To spice things up, Westminster Presbyterian Church has challenged us in a friendly competition for both our fundraising efforts and for numbers of participants. If that’s not enough incentive, adults who raise $150 or more and youth (18 years and under) who raise $75 or more will receive a CNOY toque. For more infomation visit:
