Family Christmas Eve Service at 4pmIn-person: 4:00 – 5:00 pm or Live-streamed: 4:00 pm In-person: 4:00 – 5:00 pm We invite you to experience a relaxed family gathering on Christmas Eve. A live nativity scene will be onsite on the front lawn, complete with Mary & Joseph to talk of their journey and live baby animals for your children to pet and cuddle. Sharing their blessings with others, your children are encouraged to bring an item to hang themselves on the Mitten Tree and to drop a food item in our Food Bank basket. There will even be a cozy firepit near the manger to warm chilly fingers and toes!Those who are comfortable with an indoor experience, will move into the sanctuary at 4;30 p.m., well-spaced for families, to listen to a Christmas story for children and sing along (the children can choose their own instruments) with Evan and his carollers. St. Andrew’s opens its arms and hearts to all our young families – come for part, come for all – this gathering will be relaxed and child-focused – spontaneous joy encouraged! Live-streamed: 4:00 pm Enjoy candle lighting, the Christmas Scripture being read in a new way, a story called ‘My Christmas List’, a prayer for the world, and a solo by Rhys Hume. Come home for Christmas!! Dec 24 - Christmas Eve Candlelight Service- 7:00 pm (in-person & livestreamed) & 9:00 pm (in-person) A more traditional candlelight service for Christmas Eve with familiar carols, a telling of the Christmas Story, special seasonal music, and spiritual nourishment for living in times like these. Dec 25 - Christmas Day CommunionA Revolution of Kindness (Dr. Tim) Join us for this peaceful and reflective service for Christmas Day which includes the celebration of Communion. In his Message, Dr. Tim will reflect on how our syndromes of sin and disappointment are suddenly interrupted by the outrageous loving-kindness of God our Saviour, which dawns upon the world. On Christmas God breaks into our world as Emmanuel (God with us) initiating a revolution of kindness. Hope you can join us in-person or by live-stream.
