This week Kevin MacFarlane has included a ‘Trinity History Bite’ with information on how you can check out images and information on a display panel in the Karl English Lounge.  We would like to thank all those in our faith family who moved to St. Andrew’s with the amalgamation with Trinity.  We are grateful for their presence and contributions to our shared life together.

Our church school leaders will be enjoying a well-deserved rest, so there will not be any church school over the summer, beyond June 23. However, our Nursery staff - either Lilwen Henrichsen or Calysta Payne - will welcome an expanded age range over the summer, including children up to the age of 6.  Stay tuned for information on the resumption of regular church school classes in September.

As you may have read in this summer's ConnXions, we have started a series of "Trinity History Bites".  Compliments of Kathy and Kerrie Slimmon, you can view some images from the St. Andrew's Satellite which our Session formed just over 40 years ago.  They are on both sides of the first panel on the right of our History Display in the Karl English Lounge.  Check them out over coffee this summer,

If you would like to participate in a picnic and hike to Cat Creek Falls (Highway from Longview - a map will be provided) on Saturday, June 15th, please call the church office at 403.255.0001.

Family Ministry has secured our group campsite at Sandy McNabb Campground in Sheep River Provincial Park
(21 km west of Turner Valley) for August 23-25.
10 RV sites with power, and 4 tent sites have been assigned and there is ONE RV/TENT SPOT LEFT.
Fees to camp are $100 for the weekend and payment is required to secure your spot.  E-transfer, cheque or cash is accepted.  Please contact Craig Murray at murraycraigjohn@gmail.com.
A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required for all campers and day visitors.  Passes need to be purchased in advance here: https://www.alberta.ca/kananaskis-conservation-pass 
Please note all campers and visitors are responsible for their own food and drinks. We encourage day visitors on Saturday and for Sunday morning worship.  Please RSVP to Craig Murray.

This is a special event co-presented by the queer/faith advocacy group, Affirming Connections, and the Affirming Network of Faith Communities in Calgary.  The Citywide Pride Gathering is a celebration of our diverse faiths and identities and will proudly proclaim the message and celebrate the reality that it is possible to be queer and to be engaged and affirmed in your faith, whatever faith that is.
