Good Friday, March 29th Service - 10:00 amLaurie McKay, Evan Mounce, St. Andrew’s Choir, and special guests Outside the city wall stands the weeping tree. In silence she lifts her weary arms against the darkened sky. Under her graceful canopy there is comfort, and beneath her towering presence there is shelter from the storm. Her roots grow deep into the hearts of all who draw near to her. She would come to cradle Jesus, the Hope of the world. She who was cut and fashioned by hatred and violence became a tree of life for the world. Her arms are outstretched still. For more infomation visit:

Easter Sunday, March 31st - ‘’The Empty Tomb”Rev. Laurie McKay Can it be true? Jesus is raised from the dead? Who do you believe? Their testimony doesn’t agree. Like witnesses of anything, people have their own story because their experience is unique. We hear today Mark and John’s accounts. It makes you wonder how many stories of Jesus encounters there are. What is yours?

Grateful Thankful BlessedSo many ways to connect… great communication begins with connection. On Sunday mornings, those who worship in person connect with hugs, conversation, and eye contact. On Sunday mornings, those who worship online communicate by ‘chatting’ ~ a great way to virtually connect! Alice Post is our ‘chat host’, and one of her most faithful participants is Chris Lindsay. |

Are you able to provide a Gift Card for one of our Post Secondary Students?
For a number of years, the Faith Formation Team has been organizing a treat for each of our post secondary students during both the Christmas and spring exam period. We think it is important that St. Andrew’s students know they are being thought of and that we hold them in our prayers. We are looking for families able to assist one student by purchasing a $25 gift card i.e. a Starbuck’s, Tim Horton’s, Subway, etc. You would mail the gift card with a hopeful and caring message to a student, whose name and address will be provided to you by the Faith Formation Team. All of our students are most grateful for the gift and encouragement! If you are able to help, please connect with Rhonda Wishart at Rhonda.wishart@icloud.com or 403-614-9924 to be provided the name and address of a student. Thank you to all past and current participants! |
