Close your eyes and let your mind wander.  Now ask yourself - what is one of the things that comes to your mind the most this time of year?  YEP!!!   Taxes!!  They boggle our minds.  All those tax receipts - did we get them?  Where did we put them?
Now imagine our dear Dolly’s mind - boggled with images of hundreds of tax receipts!!  And those tax receipts are for all of us who contribute financially to this faith community.  We are very grateful for Dolly’s hard work and dedication in getting our tax receipts to us in a timely manner.  Year end is a very busy time for our Treasurer.  She can now breathe a sigh of relief.  Give her a pat on the back when you next see her.  She deserves it!   ~ Deb

The Search Team has come up with a wonderful idea to help Rev. Laurie get to know our St. Andrew’s family.  They will be presenting Rev. Laurie with a digital photo frame as a welcome gift.  They encourage anyone who is interested to take a photo of themselves along with their families, children, pets, etc. holding up a sign with a word of welcome or blessing along with the names of everyone who is in the picture.  The photo will be sent directly to the digital frame to help Laurie get acquainted with everyone. What: Children get a night (150 minutes) at the church including dinner and lots of fun, games and activities. Children are welcome to come dressed up or wear green!
Who: Children from grades 1-6.
Children are welcome to bring a friend
Parents & Grandparents get a night (150 minutes) to themselves too (think date night, dinner with friends, shopping).
Cost: Free!

The date is set for our Annual Family Camping weekend taking place August 23-25, 2024! 
Mark your calendars and plan to camp for the weekend, one night or come out for the day, to enjoy the fresh air, fellowship, games, hiking and worship in the great outdoors!  We encourage all to join us for this intergenerational weekend, whether a seasoned camper, your first time out, or planning to attend for the day, we welcome you!

Our Christian Meditation Group continues to meet on Mondays at 10 am on Zoom. Since Christian Meditation is such a meaningful spiritual practice, all are invited and encouraged to join us over the upcoming season of Lent. We are looking for a couple of volunteers to make and serve a child friendly supper and dessert for St Patrick’s Day TAKE 150 on March 16. All expenses will be covered.  If you would like to participate in this fun night, please contact Inge Murray at 403. 607.1408
