The count is in, and Rev. Peter has given Rev. Laurie McKay the good news that 88% of our congregation signed in support of the Call!!   Thank you to all of you who contacted people, to those of you who made an effort to sign in person, and to those who contacted us to let us know that we could sign on your behalf.
This is good news for US ALL!!!!

This morning we will remember the stories of the birth of Jesus in a traditional carols and readings service.  The stories of Jesus’ birth are filled with wonders.  At this morning service we are called to “ponder in our hearts” the wonders.

Please note that the Nursery will not be open at this 10 am service.

Every step we take is a journey of faith. We are all part of the Christmas story.  If your steps lead you to our family service on Christmas Eve, you can be part of our ‘pick-up pageant’.

 Let us welcome again the coming of the Christ Child into our lives in this Candlelight Christmas Eve  Service.

Our Christmas Day service will be available online December 25th  so you can take it in whenever it fits into your schedule.
The "From Our Home to Yours" service will be led by the Coutts and the Mounce families from their homes.
It is a 30 minute service for people of all ages that includes a story time and the Stuffy Christians.

This year the people of St. Andrew's have again shown their compassion and generosity for those less fortunate in our city with their donations of 437 hats, mittens/gloves, scarves, socks and underwear to the mitten tree. We donated 167 men's items, 135 ladies items, 138 children's items and a blanket and bags to the Mustard Seed, the Alpha Center and WINS. Men's socks and children's hats topped the list of donations. The children's items were added to the items that the children will distribute to WINS. Thank you to everyone for your kindness.  ~ Kathy Slimmon, Kerrie Anderson on behalf of the Mission Team      And a note from the congregation to Kathy and Kerrie - thank you for your help in organizing and distributing the items to those in need!

Are you starting to think about next year?  Our Sunday Bible Study group is.  We're ready to start a whole new year with a brand new study.  We plan to ... read the Bible!  That's right - can you imagine it?  More details can be obtained by clicking the button below.

The Ladies Guild would like to extend an invitation to all interested to join us on January 9 at 1:30 to share a cup of tea and hear speakers from Victoria’s Quilts. This charity makes quilts for those going through cancer treatments. Please come and hear the wonderful story  of Victoria’s Quilts.

We are changing things up and would like you to come to our "Open House" style party!  Wear your coziest PJs if you would like.

PLEASE be careful and don’t fall for the scams where people you know are APPARENTLY asking for money… or gift cards... or anything else.  Your friends would pick up the phone and call you.  They wouldn’t send an email asking for financial help.  And once again… Peter doesn’t need gift cards OR your hard earned money.

LinX (and its creators) will be taking a ‘bit of a break’ over the holidays.  There will not be a LinX email on December 27th, and on January 3rd you’ll receive a ‘shorter LinX version’.  We’ll be back to our regular schedule and format January 10th.  We wish you a blessed Christmas, and a happy and safe new year.

We will be giving our Church School Leaders a little holiday break as well.  On the following Sundays, we will have activity bags at the back of the Sanctuary for ‘3 plus’ and ‘7 plus’ ages, but there will be NO Church School classes Dec 24 and Dec 31.
We will resume classes January 7.

There will be no nursery on December 24, but we’ll be back to our normal nursery schedule on December 31 and into 2024.
