As we begin the new church year by lighting the candle of hope, we are aware that the light of Christ is still among us in these "in between" times.  How do we see God moments that fuel our hope?  The community of grace teaches us how to "keep watch" for the inbreaking of Christ's presence.

Rev. Geoffrey and Joan Simmins are thrilled to welcome a new grandson into the family!  Alexander is one blessed and lucky little boy, who will be well loved by mom and dad ~ David and Had; big sister Ayla; and of COURSE - his grandparents.  They too, are feeling blessed ~ one more little one to love and cuddle!  Congratulations to the entire family!!!

I am so glad you asked this question!  Congregations don’t go through it very often, so it can be hard to imagine it. I will lay it out for you in the form of a schedule. Do mark your calendars!

It has twists and turns, and sometimes you can’t seem to find the right path.  You find yourself going the wrong way, and have to turn around and choose a different path.
Come and hear our intergenerational choir as we share songs and stories about ‘Finding our way to Jesus’.  That, after all, is the true journey and destination of Christmas.  Come join us Sunday, December 10th!

The 2023 General Assembly adopted a Confession regarding the ways in which The Presbyterian Church in Canada has silenced, mistreated and slandered the “ethnic contingent” of the church. Following the Assembly’s direction, on Sunday December 3, 2023, at 3:00 pm (et) a Service of Repentance, Healing and Hope will be held at St. Timothy Presbyterian Church, located at 106 Ravenscrest Dr., Etobicoke, Ontario. This service will also be livestreamed so that Presbyterians across the country may be able to participate.
