July 30, 2023 - “Small Start, Great Ending!”Rev. Bruce Clendenning Great things come from small beginnings. We might not know how big something can grow from a small seed, or even see the results. In God we have hope, growth, and blessings that grow beyond ourselves.

Bless you Harry, blessings on your life, and blessings on your golf game!!!
This week I read a news article on our very own Harry Eisenhauer, who teed off as an honorary player in the Calgary and Areas Seniors Golf Tournament last week at the age of 103. Harry is an example to EVERYONE of getting up every morning and living life to the fullest. But as I look back on the life of St. Andrew’s, I reflected that Harry has been an example to so many of us of living your life to the fullest FOR GOD. Harry served on Session from 1962 to 2001, and I was blessed to be on Session with him for 13 years before he retired. He was a leader, a mentor, and an amazing example of generosity to all of us. He ‘lighted the flame within us’ many times over the years. Bless you Harry, and blessings on your life - and your golf game!!!

St. Andrew’s Church family: Please remember her in your prayers. Pray for surgeons’ healing hands, for compassionate care, for a successful surgery, and for peace for Fiona and Garry during the surgery and in the days ahead. ~ Debby |
