Mavis (Martha) DrakeLovingly remembered long-time member Mavis (Martha) Drake passed away this week. Mavis was the mother of Sue and Sharon, and loved to attend church, especially Christmas Eve Pageants. Please remember Martha’s family and friends in prayer this week. |

In-Person Worship has been temporarily suspendedThe St. Andrew’s Re-opening Task Force met on Monday, April 12, 2021. The Calgary and Provincial Covid numbers were reviewed. Calgary, as of Monday April 12, has 388 cases per 100k. The Calgary December peak was 402 cases per 100k. One big concern is that half of the new cases are coronavirus variants. The Task Force concluded: "Although we do not want to, based upon the Covid numbers, the Re-opening task force believes that the church needs to shut down again except for essential services." We will continue to respect, both in spirit and law, all AHS guidelines and will reopen for in-person worship only when it is safe to do so. |
