June 11, 2023 - A Song for Life's JourneyRev. Clay Kuhn Many of us have made plans to travel this summer. Some like to put together a playlist to listen to on their summer adventures. What songs do you listen to and sing when you travel? We look at Psalm 121 that is one the songs Israel sang as they traveled to Jerusalem to worship at the temple.

Thankful / Grateful / BlessedGratitude ~ readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. We all know that Sunday, June 25 will be Rev. Geoffrey’s last day serving as our Interim Minister of Pastoral Care. We may KNOW it, but we are going to have a hard time accepting it! Rev. Geoffrey has come to mean so much to so many, and it will be hard to say good-bye. We are hopeful that as a congregation we have ‘returned kindness’ to Geoffrey and Joan, but we want to make sure we express our appreciation for all he has done for us over these last three years. If you would like to contribute towards a ‘purse of money’ for Rev. Geoffrey, please speak with Dolly or Debby. And be sure to worship with us Sunday, June 25 for Rev. Geoffrey’s last service with us. It’s going to be a memorable one!! |
Congratulations to Rev. Geoffrey on successfully completing his 2nd doctorate!
