For those followers of Jesus, everyday must have started with an exciting question: “So what is going to happen today?” One day, Jesus told them, what you have been watching me do I am now going to send you out to do. People must have freaked out. Sending the 72 out on their short-term mission was about mission–yes–but Jesus was sending them for another more important reason.
We will explore that reason this Sunday.

The Facilities Team would like to recognize and express our thanks to Kevin MacFarlane and Otto de Nooij. After the television fell off the wall in one of the Faith Formation rooms, these two gentlemen stepped to the rescue. Kevin was able to confirm that the TV was still working and he was able to reprogram it and restore all the "Smart TV" features. Otto used his carpentry skills to build and mount a new shelf for it on the classroom wall.

We are so thankful for all the people who work to help us stay connected to St. Andrew’s… and with each other.  AND… we want our volunteers to have some ‘down time’ and enjoy the summer, so we’ll still be communicating ~ just not quite as often over the summer.

ConnXions:  there won’t be a June/July issue, but stay tuned for August/September.  We hope Lauren Nolette, Lorna Andronikou, Judie Coleman and Barb English enjoy the sun and fun of summer, and thank them for their work during the year keeping us connected!
LinX:  we also want Kevin & Barbara MacFarlane to enjoy summer fun with their family, so we will be cutting back on the number of LinX emails that go out in the coming months:  You will receive a LinX email on June 7, 14, 28; July 12, 26; Aug 16 and 30.  Kevin & Barbara, we wish you a summer of ‘livin’ easy’!!!!
Social Media Posts will go out on Tuesdays / Thursdays / Saturdays.  Our social media gurus Kevin MacFarlane, Lorna Andronikou and Alice Post get to focus a bit more on ‘their world’ and a tiny bit less on ‘the world’ for the summer.  But of course, they are dedicated and thoughtful, so we’ll still get a few weekly updates on social media.

With camping season just around the corner, Camp Kannawin is trying to update, replace, and bring in new sporting/game equipment (things like new canoe paddles and bows/arrows, as well as setting up frisbee golf and a basketball court).
