We’ve got mail - from Haiti!!
Exciting news! We have received our first letter from Joud, our 6-year old sponsor child in Haiti. Through the gift of her letter, we learned a few things about her! She also expressed her gratitude for the birthday money she received, with which her mom bought fabric to make her a new dress. She asks that we pray for her to grow in God’s presence and that she be successful in life.

Many hands make light work
The Facilities team has scheduled a Spring clean-up on SATURDAY, MAY 13th from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Members of the congregation are invited to join the Facilities team as we do some minor chores inside and outside. We will be sweeping the parking lot, cleaning up the gardens, and washing some of our windows inside in order to ensure that our church looks its best! Please join us. |
New Members’ Classes
If anyone is interested in learning more about becoming a member here at St. Andrew’s, please let the church office know (office@standrewscalgary.ca or 403-255-0001). Rev. Peter will be holding 2 classes (rescheduled due to his recent fall and injury). New dates: May 24 and May 31 at 7:00 pm in the Karl English Lounge. A reception for new members will be held during worship on June 4th. |

St. Andrew’s Youth Scholarship - Application Deadline June 15, 2023
Any St. Andrew’s student planning on attending post secondary education for the first time in the fall of 2023 is eligible to apply for the annual $1000 St. Andrew’s Youth Scholarship. Funds for the scholarship are largely raised by the Ladies Guild which generously makes the funds available for administration by the Faith Formation Team.
