Sunday, Apr16 - Believe in Him and RejoiceRev. Geoffrey Diane Roth posed this question in a Christian Century article a few years back: “Why did Jesus rise from the dead? What does the resurrection mean, really? Does it mean life, eternal life? That’s the first and easy answer. But maybe it’s just as much about giving us peace, a peace that crosses boundaries, languages, fears, suspicion—whatever separates us.” Today, we will explore the deep peace that Jesus offers to the world.

Making Easter extra special at St. Andrew’s
We have so many people to thank for making Holy Week a blessed one here at St. Andrew’s ~ our Ministers Peter & Geoffrey/ our music makers: Evan, the choir, special guests/ those who participated in scripture readings, Lenten readings, and making the Easter story come alive in the monologues written by Rev. Peter. So many people gave of their time and talents, and we are thankful for each one. An extra special thank you to Ian Judd for the beautiful painting that graced our Foyer Sunday morning. The church school children will treasure this painting for years to come!! |
