Please join us for our Ash Wednesday Service tonight at 7:00 pm.  ALL are warmly welcome.  If you are unable to attend in-person, the service will be livestreamed so you can still join us.
During this service, Rev. Peter will share with us the imposition of the ashes.  The early followers of Jesus observed the days of Jesus’ passion and resurrection in different ways.  It became the custom of the Church to prepare to celebrate this great mystery of our faith with a season of prayer, contemplation, and fasting.  Let us begin the observance of Lent in self-examination and repentance. We are invited to continue through the season with prayer, fasting, and meditation on God's holy Word.

Lent again?  Are you ready?  Will it be something new for you?  Is there joy in Lent?  Some questions that maybe we can find an answer to as we look at Jesus’ temptations in the ‘dessert’.

Did you know that Scout/Beaver/Cub troops meet in our building twice a week?  Well, this Sunday they will be at St. Andrew’s helping serve coffee after the service, and selling their popcorn to those who might like a tasty treat when they get home.  If you need time to think about which flavor you might like, they will have regular, caramel, and caramel chocolate for $15/bag.  If you can’t make up your mind, just get one of each!!!!   ~ Deb

Beginning March 5th the Sunday  morning Adult Bible Study group is starting a new 10-week study of John Ortberg’s book Who Is This Man?  We are grateful to Bill Judd for once again leading us.  We’ll discuss how Jesus’ influence has swept over history ~ and how his vision for us to lead lives of dignity, compassion, forgiveness, and hope continues to inspire and challenge us today.

·         making sure your children or grandchildren are safe using the internet or cellphones
·         how we can also be safe from hacking of information and accounts

This FREE event will be held Saturday, March 18th from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.  Children from Grades 1-6 get a night of fun and food in Trinity Hall - and they can bring a friend.   Parents and grandparents get a night for themselves.  Win/win!   Did we mention this event is FREE?

Today we’d like to especially thank Sean Pepper and Alfred MacRae of our Facilities Team for their awesomeness!!!  We sometimes have time sensitive tasks that need to be done in our building, and they always respond with their presence, their expertise, and their positive attitudes.  Dolly, Debby, and Flemming are especially grateful to them because we KNOW what they do ~ now that you all know they deserve a thank you, please shake their hands the next time you see them and say “THANKS guys!  You are appreciated!!”  (And Flemming ~ Dolly and Deb know you are a little package of awesomeness too!!!)
