This Sunday we will explore the Beatitudes: some of the most beloved and confounding verses in the New Testament. The theologian Stanley Hauerwas asks: “The most interesting question about the Sermon on the Mount is not, Is this really a practical way to live in the world? but rather, Is this really the way the world is?”  We will explore the first portion of Jesus’ beloved sermon, to reflect on how we see the world.

Lent is a journey of deepening reflection and renewal, an opportunity to make new commitments in faith. Ash Wednesday has traditionally started the Lenten journey.

6:00 pm ~ Congregational Supper in Trinity Hall  (free will offering)

Everyone is welcome to join us for our 2nd annual cross country ski day at 10 am on Saturday, February 11th.  Once again, Rev. Geoffrey will be leading us in a small time of worship and communion.  Stay tuned for location details.  Please bring your own equipment, snacks and lunch for after if desired.  A Kananaskis Park pass will be needed by each vehicle for the day.  Please RSVP to Stephanie Werle at swerle@telus.net.
