Our Care Share team responds to individual needs by providing short term support in crisis situations. UKRAINIAN ENGLISH CLASSES AT ST. ANDREW’S
Last fall, a young woman in our neighborhood provided English classes for about 25 Ukrainians here in our building on Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings. This young woman’s name is Lana, and she does all of this work as a volunteer. Most of these people live downtown, and getting to the ‘south side’ is difficult on weekends. Therefore, they started meeting at a downtown space as of January 2023. The following is a note from Lana to the people of St. Andrew’s:
