The CORRECT ANSWER?   David Kurtz, our AV Coordinator.  David has been a faithful, committed presence at our soundboard every Sunday morning (and for many other special services and events) for the last 2+ years.  He has learned the soundboard inside out, learned new technologies, live streams our worship services, is thoughtful and patient as he works with many volunteers, and is committed to serving God and St. Andrew’s.  He is, quite simply, a gift to our congregation, and we are blessed to have him working with us!!

Forged in Faith would like to invite you and your friends (Grade 6 and up youth) to the church on October 28, 2022 (from7 pm to 9 pm) for a Halloween spooktacular!
Costumes are welcomed and encouraged! Get ready for some spooky treats and games!

At the end of our Worship Service on Sunday, October 30th, you will have an opportunity to come forward to light a candle in remembrance of someone, or to say a prayer for someone or something.  Please participate as you feel called.

Would you like to participate in yard cleanup at the church?  The Facilities Team agrees with your grandmother - many hands make light work!!  There are a variety of tasks, so there will be one to fit your skill level ~ checking eavestroughs, turning on power to roof de-ice cables, cleaning flower beds, and anything else that gets added to the to-do list before SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29th @ 9:00 am.  Come on out and enjoy God’s great outdoors with others in the congregation!!

When:  Saturday October 29, 2022 from 5:30 – 8 pm in Trinity Hall
What:  Children get a night (150 minutes) in at the church including dinner and lots of fun, games and activities. Children are welcome to come dressed up in their Halloween costumes!
Who: Children from grades 1-6. Children are welcome to bring a friend. Parents & Grandparents get a night (150 minutes) to themselves too (think date night, dinner with friends, shopping).
Cost: Free!

Tonight, Peter and several members of the congregation are meeting with community leaders and social agencies who share a concern, and work in the Kingsland neighbourhood.  They are hoping to gain insight in how we can be woven into this neighborhood, and collaborate with those who are already working there.  Please pray for those in our midst who are reaching out in this way.

For over 25 years, Stardale Women’s Group has empowered the lives of Indigenous girls, strengthened their families, and inspired communities to engage in the core values of reconciliation.  On October 28th Stardale Women’s Group will be returning to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church to show two follow-up videos “Shadows In Time” and “A Light In The Shadow”, followed by a panel discussion. This event will be held in the Karl English lounge from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.  ALL are invited!!
