A member from our congregation commented on the amazing sight displayed through the laying on of hands during the Elder Ordination January 19th. How blessed are we with our current ministers Rev. Laurie and Rev. Geoffrey, and our Ministers in Association Rev. Peter Coutts, Rev. Dr. Jean Morris, and Rev. Fiona Swanson, and to have Rev. Clay Kuhn participating in our worship? Along with these wonderful leaders are our current session members, including our 3 new elders and 1 returning elder to Session as we start a new year in 2025. |
Bring A Friend to Choir Night
If you like to sing, please consider coming to our Bring a Friend to Choir Night (all are welcome and you can just bring yourself along!) at 7:00 pm on Thursday February 20th. Join members of our choir and get a sense of how we spend our Thursday evenings: participate in a warm-up, sing some hymns, have some treats, and work on an anthem that we will share together on Sunday February 23rd during the Musical Offering. We will have a special guest joining us as well to sing This Little Light of Mine. Hope to see you there! |
Rainbow Rock Painting Night
Join the Rainbow Team for a night of Rainbow Rock Painting and treats on Friday, February 21, 7-8:30pm. All ages and stages of creativity are encouraged to join us for a fun night together! Is it YOU???? On February 23, we all have an opportunity to get to know some people we may only see sitting across the aisle from us in the pew. If you would like to participate as either a HOST (providing a meal for up to 4 people in your home), or to be a GUEST (responsible for taking a dessert to your assigned host) ~ this is the event for you!!

Knitting and Crocheting
The initial meeting of knitters and crocheters at Claire House on Monday went very well. Thank you to all the ladies who attended the Meet & Greet. There is still an opportunity for more people to participate in this project. They are also looking for yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks and wool. On a recent visit to the church, one of our Indigenous friends from Iksooksipaitapii Wellness Foundation noticed the woven rainbow banner on the wall and saw that rainbow as a sign that we might be a safe place for members of their community. What a “God moment!”. For more infomation visit:

Members of the public can order up to two Green Sleeves for delivery to their home at no cost.
